22"h x 34"w, Oil on Canvas
The quiet moment at a typical street cafe in Portland. So little is happening. There are reflections in the windows and reflections in their minds. This painting is really about those reflections. Not only is the painting about the reflections of the windows and patrons, but of myself as well. This is the kind of painting that leaves me plenty of room to think about my own role as an artist. If you look close you can see that thought expressed by the inclusion of my own reflection in the left-most window. The top of my paint box is yellow and may help you locate me behind and above it.
