The quiet moment at a typical street cafe in Portland. So little is happening.
There are reflections in the windows and reflections in their minds.
This painting is really about those reflections.
Not only is the painting about the reflections of the windows and patrons,
but of myself as well.
This is the kind of painting that leaves me plenty of room to think about
my own role as an artist.
If you look close you can see that thought expressed by the inclusion of
my own reflection in the
left-most window. The top of my paint box is yellow and may help you locate
me behind and above it.
